Link Click. Lu Guang bobble head is finally complete. Look at him go! He was born with a bell in his head (personal request from the owner of this sculpture). It was challenging and I melted my porch while firing the clay in the kiln lol but he’s done! Yaaay!

This version is actually a week ago. I could have just stopped here to finish but it didn’t sit right with me so I reworked a lot of it. Colors, texture, anatomy. Everything needed to just sit properly in a real space…if that makes sense? I think it’s improved.

Unusual note-another graphic had “Al Sharpton” at the top. And while there’s similar boycotts he’s affiliated w/-this one is people’s union. This shows how we need a more organized alternative news lifeline. To build trust/unification sans infighting. Counter confusion tactics. Listen/Learn/Educate.

But it seems that we are bested by the silence, inaction, and acceptance of abuse of power. How do you INSPIRE people worn and tired when sleep and escapism tempts?Hope in the Dark

That said, I am still supporting the cause. Prepped this week for it. I spent a lot of years watching vultures profit from carcasses. Though I like the animal. They’re cute. The turkey vultures that show up aren’t aggressive towards me. Some people, however, greedy and cruel.

While it does slow down profit, the dependency on those same corporations are still there. Tax the rich NOT the poor. The whole system is broken from end to end. How do we come together to put a different system in place for the people not against us? Waiting for govt to do anything is moot.

I paused my Amazon prime yesterday mostly for budget since renewal is coming up, lol. Not much alternatives for housebound people that isn’t corporate. Community is the answer to dismantling corporations, in my opinion. How we help each other matters more than how we spend money. Corporations steal.

This is still one of my favorite series of all time. I’m stoked this is available! Any chance the volumes will be reprinted? Those are hard for me to find.
