Only in the sense that I write down ideas or notes. I have writing cheat sheets, like things I need to remember to edit and lists of names for characters. That kind of stuff. #writestuff

I love mythology. Oddly, I rarely read it anymore, and what I have has been fiction. But there's so much history there, the nonfiction has to be amazing. #writestuff

A5: Only if I have to. Sometimes I have to explain "rules" and that's just easier using the real words instead of trying to reinvent the wheel and getting it wrong. #writestuff

A4: Yep but again, Frankenstein mostly. But usually, they aren't too hard to figure out. I find using real places to sometimes be an issue cos some readers will point out if something isn't exact even if it's fiction. #writestuff

A3: In a very Frankenstein way. I never take a "whole" person but I will take bits from people like someone's glasses another's laugh another foul mouth, etc. I even combined 3 tattoos from 3 people. By the time I finish, they are unrecognizable. #writestuff

We're 5 years out. Think that maybe in another 5 or so you'll change your mind to explain it to the ones who won't remember? I know I have to explain to my kiddo 9-11. I think it's important even though it's tragic. #writestuff

Yep, and always will be. People don't realize how much it changed not just NOLA but South LA and MS. The culture changed because so many people left and never returned and some (not all) of who came... Let's just leave that there. #writestuff

Yeah, a lot of people find that topic triggering, but it's just how one approaches it. I mean saying Katrina is triggering, too, but speaking it takes away the demon, ya know. #writestuff
