Six years ago, we lost five ash trees to infestation. They were like friends I saw every day. Provided safe harbor for wildlife, cooling shade, and beauty. I still miss them.

Also, be prepared for more deaf children as a result of whooping cough. My father had whooping cough as an infant, which resulted in profound deafness. Generations were spared thanks to the vaccine.
