i hate shower caps but i have accepted they are necessary now

but i think I might also start washing my hair in a bowl of distilled water from a jug

turns out there's a whole lot of husbands and dads avoiding their families at the library around 6pm, as evidenced by their propensity for making & answering phone calls at the library.

some even put their wives on speaker, and then groan like SHE'S the problem.

so my dad is refusing the hospice care he (& our family) desperately needs as he is actively dying

& i'm swinging WILDLY between "my stupid dad stuff is so trivial compared to ICE & WW3 et al" vs "oh y'all think YOU'RE having a hard time getting out of bed & going to work these days?! cute!"

I often have to fight "doomsday prepper" tendencies, because it is a slippery fucking slope from "buy in bulk, you never know when the storm of the century could hit" to full on PARANOID HOARDER.

My grandparents were both US Marines stationed at Camp LeJeune. Granddad served & survived w/ 3 Purple Hearts to show for it. He came home to survive leukemia. He died of liver cancer 5 years ago.

My grandmother, healthy all her life til Camp LeJeune. Died at 38.

I have no exec functioning skills rn can someone explain to me step by step in order of how I should do it how to take care of the cat's litter box and surrounding floor. Litter needs replacing, box needs cleaning, floor needs sweeping/vacuuming. Only place to clean box is car wash station outside.
