I owe an apology to all James Bond movies. I mocked them for having completely unrealistic, cartoonish villains that simply weren't believable.

2025 has made it impossible to levy that criticism anymore.

This is not a fair comparison. Chamberlain knew who the enemy was. When Hitler invaded Poland, Chamberlain declared war on Germany.

I feel like if you’re voting on a UN resolution, and the only countries voting with you are Russia, Belarus, and North Korea, it might be time to go for a walk and clear your head.

Earlier on Monday, the General Assembly, which represents the 193 U.N. member states, had approved a Ukrainian resolution pinning the blame on Russia for the war, despite U.S. efforts to kill it. The U.S. was joined by North Korea, Russia and Belarus in voting against it.  - Today’s WSJ

So far the Very Stable Genius has offered Putin (1) Ukrainian territory, (2) no NATO membership for Ukraine, (3) no US soldiers in Ukraine, (4) the withdrawal of US soldiers from Europe, and (5) sanctions relief. From what we can tell, Putin hasn’t responded. Why would he? He may end up owning NYC.

GOP, remember when Biden gave George Soros control over the system that pays Social Security, Medicare, tax refunds & federal contracts—then used it to cut off anyone he didn’t like?

Me neither, because that never happened. But it’s what Trump & Elon Musk are doing now w/out congressional approval.
