My A-level lit teacher was absolutely convinced that Heathcliff was Earnshaw’s kid. I don’t know if that’s a widely held interpretation but it’d absolutely go into one of those dark TV shows as a possibility.

If they made a modern setting version of Wuthering Heights it’d be like one of those bleak crime drama shows (Silent Witness etc)

They need the bravery of the original. Just have New Bond look right into the camera, make a quip about it and then never mention it again. Entirely on brand. Or cold open on Q explaining the new infallible MI6 condoms- Remember Bond, it’s every agent’s duty to prevent awkward future plot twists.
