It's not worth arguing the merits of any of this environmental regulation, because they don't care one whit about protecting the environment. In their philosophy everything exists for us to exploit for profit.

Trump wants people to burn American flags, for the same reason he killed bipartisan immigration reform under Biden. He needs to keep the base riled up. He needs to feed the narrative that the "radical left" is anti-American.

It's clear we're going to need Constitutional amendments to enforce more constraints on the Executive branch. Norms are dead.

I do not think Trump can be impeached and removed now. Post-J6 was the shot, but I believe he would burn the country down now before being forcibly removed. The best we can do IMHO is to resist and neutralize him as best we can and hope the clock runs out before we're past the point of no return.
