PPE Medpro has been liquidated but because it has only £0.6m only £0.6m of the £148m debt will be repaid.

A Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA), placed against Michelle Mone and Doug Barrowman (worth £500m+) would allow all the money to be recovered.

Why hasn't it happened?

These are not people serving sentences. They are people awaiting trial. And yet the conditions they describe – prolonged pre-trial detention, restrictions on communication, isolation – are indistinguishable from punishment.

The BBC has a complete blackout on this.

They even cut PMQs coverage short to avoid Corbyn's question.

Please try and get on the BBC, because right now most Brits have no idea this is even happening.

From 2am, in freezing temperatures, we were forced to protest for more than 12 hours before an ambulance was finally dispatched to HMP Bronzefield so that Qesser Zuhrah could receive the urgent medical care she needs.

We demand immediate bail for all remand political prisoners.

NHS staff work under enormous pressure to do the impossible.

They are striking to protect their profession and their patients — and I was proud to join them on the picket line outside St. Thomas’ Hospital this morning.

Good news today that UNISON has elected a socialist General Secretary.

As many of the other big unions step back let us hope this marks the beginning of UNISON stepping forward.

Congratulations to Andrea Egan. Ordinary Trade Unionists are crying out for leadership. Best of luck
