I'm also trying to balance the colonial aspect, e.g. I don't want to steal their voice and talk "about them" (even thought it is inevitable in a class). This year I wanted to add a week on Middle Eastern Feminism but I did not have the time to work out a solution on that unfortunately.

I use available literature for Hijras (Hall & colleagues), Two Spirit (J. Davis) & Travesti (Borba and Ostermann), for others I found videos where people talk about the self/their identities (e.g. for Fa’afanine/Fa'afatamas).
