Spygate was a violation of NFL rules, yes, but it wasn't for the videotaping of the opposing sideline. It was perfectly legal to record signals--the violation concerned the cameraman's presence on the NE sidelines. At the time, videotaping had to come from the press box or an elevated position.

Yea, that 45 to 7 thumping of the Colts in the 2014 AFCCG was all because of the PSI measurements...mind you, 11 of the 12 NE footballs were within the normal range as defined by the Ideal Gas Law, as Florio reported here: sports.yahoo.com/as-new-defla...
