I am a clinical ethicist, dad, and BJJ hobbyist. I am also learning to sketch (going poorly).
You monster! How dare you push (advocate for) a fantastic, well-written book! A book that, besides being entertaining, also deals with the effects of intergenerational trauma and abuse with depth and grace. Instead, your ads are crowding out the make-your-own-potholder supply ones!
Every time I think it's futile to send another post pushing my book & then I get a Black Friday email from a place selling make-your-own-potholder supplies, and I think, eh, why not

Did not expect one of the best paragraphs I’d read about baseball would come from an Irish newspaper

@carlelliott.bsky.social, I have avoided ‘Philosophical Disease’ as I have 2 books, 3 papers, and 1 propsal for the IRB to finish first. As I sit watching my 5 year kiddo at his American ninja class, I thought “reading the intro can’t hurt.” Didn't even make it 3 pages before buying it. Well done!

Dr Peter Marks, "Vaccines have been studied very extensively for being potentially associated with autism"

"That theory has been debunked"

"One study in Denmark, over 600,000 children. It shows that if anything, children had a lower rate of autism than unvaccinated children"
