Anyway, this is how we found out our overgrown dingo of a puppy is in fact smart and manipulative. 🫠

What a stinker.

I finally got the camera I ordered months ago, so of course Freddie has been dealing with the burden of me shoving a camera in his face for the past hour while I fidget with the settings.

Anyway. New glamour shot.

The ableism. The misogyny. The ignorance of basic facts. The absolute disregard for human life and suffering.

Time to bring this back out.

“Beyond individual scientists, the kinds of studies that get conducted are based on what questions are deemed relevant or not by dominant societal norms.”

I focus on this a lot in talks. What we accept as the default determines who is prioritized vs who has to wait for benefits to “trickle down”.

This whole birth rate obsession is partially driven by a subset of White people looking at their kids' friend groups and realizing that it's much harder to teach your kids an effed up fairy tale of white supremacy when the kids down the street who don't look like them are pretty awesome. Creepy.

It's fake, although the real one is still yikes.

These people confuse attention with dialogue.

The platforms are so different.

Take two comments I got on X (left) and Bluesky (right) in response to calling out eugenics. Both are critical of my positions. Only one tells me to kill myself.

On a serious note, the axes of subordination are a useful framework for understanding how racism and xenophobia are inherently related in the the states.

You can see these axes in the targeted attacks against minoritized groups. For example, the targeted sinophobia of this piece.

What the actual fuck is wrong with people.

I would say it's brain rot but the rot isn't just in their heads.

I'm a little surprised that the numbers are as high as they are all around, especially by June this year. But the trends by respondent are interesting.

Two things can be true:

1. The OMB categories were changed in mid-2024 to combine race and ethnicity, with the more detailed form centering national origin.

2. This info is going to be used by the current regime, rewinding the definition of whiteness to further their racist and eugenicists goals.
August 15, 2025 at 1:02 AM
I'm not a fan of the move to make race/ethnicity so tightly linked with national origin for many reasons. The conflation is so clear on the long/detailed form. It's weird, inaccurate, and a non-negligible amount of icky.

I don't understand the point of this on many levels. She is not unique. We are a dime a dozen and most of us don't turn into hateful spite bots trying to burn the world down to feel the smallest sense of belonging from bad men.

Another uncritical puff piece that lacks the bare minimum in checking the science. And to pit ethicists against parents/ kids...detestable.
