I’m progressing on text presentation: each character now has its own “voice,” with gibberish in the style of Animal Crossing or Sims. Voices are pregenerated using Google Text to Speech and preprocessed into short syllables that play synced with the on-screen text (work in progress)

I'm alive!
After the last public beta I took a break… and made the mistake of buying Baldur’s Gate 3. But I’m finally back!
Today’s update adds a small text flash effect (you can speed it up by pressing A)

🎉 Characters can now move at fractional speeds!
The hero walks at 1.5x speed, and the mother at 0.75x.
Sounds trivial, right?
Well, I had to rewrite ALL the movement code to use non-integer types. It nearly killed me 😵‍💫

Finally done refactoring the entire game code (roughly 70%!) 🎉
New structures, cleaner & more robust functions — yet simple and easy to manage.
Combat is working again, with new features and lots of bugs squashed
