Currently in Merseyside, pondering what to do with myself while pet-sitting for a week. Current highlights in the list include the British Lawnmower Museum. Surely there must be something more... exciting to do around here? (I say as though I'm not actually excited by a museum of lawnmowers...)

Three days. Six steam locos in steam, a cab ride, getting invited into two signalboxes, "mysterious" bruises on my thighs, and apple crumble and custard. Last weekend was fantastic. I have been covered in soot, coal dust and steam oil, and I'm not normally into WAM! Finally starting to recover...

Finally made something useful with the chainmail - my clover clamps came without an attaching chain, so I made a colourful one that'll make them easy to identify!
