Happy New Year everyone. The boys and I headed into the central city last night and watched the Sky City fireworks, such a fun way to see the new year in!

I think of her often, as she's the reason I fostered and then adopted our three guinea pig girls.

It makes me happy every day when I look at it ☺️

And I still love to dress colourfully, with joy. Here I am dressed up for Book Week at my school this year.

Oh, and I got my first tattoo! It's a celebration of my metamorphosis

And we adopted a third gorgeous Guinea pig girl, this is Rusty 😍 She's a very sweet older girl who lost her buddy and needed some new ones.

And I've been finding myself too. I remembered how much fun it is to create and make things.

Our little guinea pig girls had their desexing ops yesterday and are recuperating in my room so I can keep an eye on them. Earlier, I freaked out because they had wet red patches under their mouths... until my son helpfully reminded me that I gave them a cherry tomato each with their dinner, oops! 😂

She inspired me. These are our two fluffy potatoes named Jasmine and Violet. We were fostering them, but have to decided to keep them because we love them so much ❤️
