Turns out the thing I should have checked first was the issue with the Xbox. I swapped The HDMI cable to a new one and it worked. When did HDMI cables go bad?

So my Xbox and Samsung TV decided to stop working together. Research says it’s a EDID issue between them. Technology used to be much simpler. #OldGuyShoutingAtClouds

Found a script in /usr/local/bin that’s been running since 2009. No comments. Written in Perl. Owned by a user that doesn’t exist. I left it alone.
