If the names of those internment or relocation camps don't ring a bell and you don't find their history to be a shameful blot on the history of this country that proclaims "liberty and justice for all", it's even more important to visit, to study, and to learn.

Go! Get out of the house and visit Manzanar. Drive to Minidoka. Spend the day at Topaz, or Amache, or Granada.

It directly led to the death of hundreds if not thousands. All without any hearing, without due process, and with no legal justification other than their nationality (or race) ignoring even their citizenship status or legal immigration status.

Under the supposed guise of preventing espionage and ensuring national security, it has been used to deprive hundreds of thousands of citizens and immigrants with legal status of their property, their wealth, their freedom, and their basic human rights.

This travesty that should never have been passed & should have been repealed decades ago, or declared not only unconstitutional, but an unconscionable violation of basic human rights by the courts to have ruled on it, has only ever been invoked in times of actual war (1812, WWI, WWII). Until now.

Please, I beg you, please - Pick up a history book and study the use and abuse of "The Alien Enemies Act of 1798".

LevelUp and Cinemagic are Xtra stations for video game and movie soundtracks respectively that I like for background music while working.

We currently have it it two cars. I personally rarely listen while driving, preferring audiobooks/podcasts. But, I do like their "Xtra" stations that are only available in the app. 80s to Now Alt Rock, 1st Wave Deep Cuts. Look for the Xtra collection in the app for all the channels.
