Things I love: movies, physical media, spooky season, clean water, healthy forests, fresh bread and cheese, equality, funding social services. Caring is radical. You should try it!
That's how 80% of wildfires start.

“Crap-weasel”. Nice work.

Does Adobe get some blame here? Trying to think of a widespread starting point here and not being able to buy Photoshop seems like the first in my own experience.

The strike did irreparable harm to the studios. Downright villainous stuff. I’m still a sucker and pay for some streaming and love physical media, but I’m no longer in the “you wouldn’t steal a car” camp I grew up in.

Even the tape deck with its little digital EQ is fantastic. Fuzzy blue interior and gorgeous seats. Wish they showed the pop-ups popping in the video. But yeah, that deserves to be driven with pride. What a car.

lol. You’d love it.

Agreed. I was hoping for a meteor strike not long ago and yet felt downright hopeful leaving the theatre. Movies are the best.

I'm not a Marvel zombie but I personally really liked it. The junior Interstellar vibes of the chase were cool, but mostly, the whole "I invite the worst possible thing into my mind" conversation got to me. I'm no genius, but my brain is wired that way.

Every time I see cormorants flying low over water, this is what I think of.

Doesn’t matter how many times I watch it, it seems newly perfect in some way every time. Bury me with my 4K.

The way he wouldn't stop holding down the metal bin over the little monster was pretty funny, as was exclaiming "gross". I find it all very charming.

He deserves nothing but the unsatisfying, mealy mush of past-prime red delicious.

I refuse. Until they literally force me and won't let me default to the old version, I'm staying right where I am. I find the "threads" infuriating and the overall look infantile. Signed, an old person.

Lake Huron? Regardless, looks wonderful. Enjoy!

We were just there. The shrimp and fish and chips at More on the Shore was amazing. (Whale watching from Homolco was awesome too.) And in Nanaimo, you can take a 10 minute ferry to a floating pub called Dinghy Dock. Good fun. Cathedral Grove and the lighthouse hike near Ucluelet were great too.
