#Dunkadillo from @tommyill.bsky.social is a gosh dang delight. Absolutely loving it so far!

I can’t believe I’m just finding about this now, but this made my day! I absolutely love this guy’s games.

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating. Someone needs to make a Ninja Gaiden Classic collection, pulling together the arcade original, the nes games, game gear, master system, shadow, that weird mobile game, and whatever else I’m forgetting. This series deserves to have its history preserved.

I thought Fantastic Four was excellent.

This is so specific and I love it.

Look. I get that this is based on Japan’s release dates, and Super Mario USA didn’t come out until later, but I’m reasonably confident Super Mario Bros 2 hit the US before Mario 3 hit Famicom.

I’m astounded at how many people I’ve seen saying this nonsense. Other than it being a 3D platformer, what else does it have in common?
Even now, I am still seeing people say that DK Bananza is “like Mario Odyssey with a Donkey Kong skin” and every time I just think of this:

I am so very sold on Donkey Kong Bananza.

In line for Switch 2.

Wind Waker on GameCube on CRT still looks incredible.

I’ve been super busy lately. As a result, I’ve only seen the first 4 episodes of Andor. As a Star Wars whore, this is unacceptable. This is what I get for trying to be responsible.

Thunderbolts was great.

That Mario Kart Direct was a very entertaining nothing-burger. The game looks great, but did we learn anything new of value here?

@digitaleclipse.bsky.social You know, I bet Atari 50 would be pretty cool with Nintendo Switch 2 mouse support…

Downloaded Breakout Beyond on Atari VCS this morning. It’s super freaking cool, but I’m super bad at it. I wish the paddle on the joystick wasn’t so crummy. Still looking forward to putting more time into it!

Woke up this morning, watched this week’s Dragon Ball Diama (I’m on Netflix, so I still have one more week) and played some Thousand Year Door. Feeling genuinely relaxed for the first time in a while.
Well, back to choring.

A little late to the party, but it turns out Undertale is a pretty fantastic game.

The latest chapter in my Mario Bros Retrospective is up. Please give it a look if you’re into that sort of thing, and if you like it, share it around!
In Part 7 of our Mario Bros. Retrospective, Mario takes his original adventures on the road, while he and his brother embark on some new 3D adventures, both in darkness and in sunshine. https://sag.rocks/3WgW4xH

Agatha All Along was a pretty dang good show.

This is the kind of game I have a hard time even believing it’s real, but it is! These freaking wizards are making the NES do things way beyond what I thought it was capable of. If you like NES games, check out their Kickstarter.
If you're an NES fan and haven't seen this yet, take a second to watch. It's completely wild! This looks like a Super NES game, and it runs on original NES hardware. Never ceases to amaze just how much the homebrew community is capable of!

If anyone is looking for a damn fine podcast I humbly suggest the one I’ve cohosted for quite awhile now.
On this week's Podcast, Dan put some time into Goliath Depot and Nuclear Blaze, while Kris continued Echoes of Wisdom and finally got his hands on the long-delayed Hatch Tales. Which is... fine. Plus, Game Freak gets hacked, someone's still playing Concord, and more!
SAG Podcast 537: It's All Sticks and Balls
In this week's podcast, Dan and Kris don't have anything to talk about. Whatever will they do? Talk about nonsense!
