I produce music and design games.
Got a chance today to work a bit more of the boss themes for the solo tabletop game I’m working on. Really starting to nail down the dark, deadly vibe I’m aiming for. #ttrpg #solorpg #tabletop #darksouls #shadowofthecolossus

Finally made a little progress on the art style for my game today. It’s a fantastical mecha boss rush, including a metal soundtrack and challenging combat like Dark Souls or Shadow of the Colossus. Playtestable version coming very soon. #ttrpg #tabletop #gamedesign #darksouls #shadowofthecolossus

Which of these do you like best? Game quickstart in a tarot-sized booklet so the small format is a consideration.

I especially am fond of the black and white with a pop of color. I love the dark aesthetic but I’m also mindful that it may be less interesting or enticing on first sight.

Wondering if it’s possible to fit at least an entire quickstart in a 20-page tarot booklet so I can package it with the rest of the deck for my game… it’s a really small format but it’s a nice challenge to pare things down to their core. #ttrpg #gamedesign #solorpg #roleplaying

Keeping the character sheets for Titan Gear on a set of tarot cards allows the whole game to travel in the same bag, box, or case. And to boot, I can offer a fillable pdf that formats and reads great on phones. #gamedesign #roleplaying #trrpg #solorpg

My goal with Titan Gear (my current TTRPG project) is to make a solo-able, procedurally generated, mechanically driven TTRPG about mechs powered by remnants of an ancient god and the vessels that pilot them. Super easy to set up and fun to forge new gear on your own custom forge table.

Making a mint tin game is really challenging me to make a focused and minimal ruleset that allows for strategy and surprise.

The board is pretty simple, just 8 cards that make up 2 characters, 4 arena cards, and 2 spaces for jungle cards. The jungle cards get swapped out periodically.

A quick look at a character for a game I’m designing. First is the current version I’m working with. And then they go backwards through old versions I had. There are more in between but they are very incremental changes.

His tentative name is Leroy (Jenkins) but it will probably change lol
