Maybe I shouldn't shit where I eat though. I think the murphy bed designs are fucking god awful, but I'm also the guy who's having an intense romantic affair with the Fjallbo line of IKEA furniture, and I know most people think this shit is ugly as sin.

YES! So you have to undo the whole bed!!!!!

But these are the ones pissing me off the most. They have better color/design options, but the mattress is proprietary and it ACCORDIONS into the thing. So the WHOLE REASON you would pick a murphy bed over a sleeper sofa (a good mattress) is DEFENESTRATED off the 4th floor. What are we doing here?!

And some of them are just fucking ugly. Some of these were designed with the worst color schemes. WHAT IS THIS? A STARK BROWN BORDERING AN AGGRESSIVE WHITE? AND IT'S *ON WHEELS*?

But it's like- it's such a BAD desk too. It's not long enough, it's at an awkward height, it's a horrible color to stare at. I don't get it at all. The couch ones make so much more sense, because if I'm lifting the bed into the cabinets, it's because I wanna open up the space for company!

I won't lie, some of these do look nice, but then have THE WORST designs on the front of the cabinet- even when the pattern DOES NOT WORK in the modern/minimalist style the rest of the piece is going for. And then they put a fucking desk in front. Becky, who the FUCK wants a TEMPORARY DESK?
