The violent criminals who were pardoned on Jan. 20 and released back into the community committed more crimes than many of the people sent to be imprisoned indefinitely in El Salvador. Something is wrong with this picture.

What the administration is doing is essentially an after-the-fact line item veto of spending passed by Congress and signed into law. If the current administration wants to cut spending they need to negotiate it with Congress first.

Pardoning one individual who filled out a form wrong is not the equivalent of pardoning and releasing back into the community hundreds of violent criminals who assaulted police officers.

2. Cancel security protection for people who have been critical of you.
3. Disavow any responsibility if anything should happen to the people whose security you cancelled.
