RIP Pearly.

Much loved and will be missed. Passed quietly in her sleep this morning.

This book was first published before I was born and for because I was told my writing style was like hers, I never read it. Now I'm reading it and I wish I'd read it years ago, I'm loving it.

Had a fabulous time in Warwick Castle yesterday, but my plimsoll apparently wasn't so happy. I need new shoes.

After nearly melting in the heat so I couldn't concentrate, came outside and sat in evening shade from 8pm, managed to write 4381 words.

A good day.

Wow! Just finished "When the Moon Hatched" by Sarah A Parker. Wonderful book and I'm looking forward to the next installment. Also wanted to show the bookmark and thank TE Kinsey for the gift - love it and it works so well with a hardback.

Today's view the writing shed otherwise known as the campervan. It's a lovely day in Pembrey and the bacon is smelling good for brunch.

Beautiful day outside. So I thought why not take a book out, sit in the sun and enjoy it. Why not? Getting sun burn in 15 mins that's why not. Shoulder hurts now. 😕

So this is me hiding the shadows, enjoying my book. Totally understanding how Raeve feels in the rain.

It's National Crime Reading Month and I'm really looking forward to this event in Coleford Library 6pm on the 17th with the wonderful @alishawkinsauthor.bsky.social. So in you are in the vicinity, why don't you join us? It would be lovely to see some friendly faces on my first foray out in months.

Will be 6 weeks post op tomorrow, so time to start exercising again. I was just moving around the house, doing parts of the Susan Powter's Lean Stong and Healthy (remember that?). Couldn't do all of it, warm up, a little of the fat burn and all the cool down I needed. I will build my fitness level.

From Private Eye (I'm told). I feel seen...

Apparently I'm not allowed to do any more research until I've fed the cat.

Brought a new notebook today because (a) there's no such thing as too many notebooks and (b) it was only £2.50

Home from @gwylcrimefest.bsky.social. Loved the panels I did, this is the one I have pictures of. Loved my time with @sirbenfro.bsky.social and @benaaronovitch.bsky.social, led by the excellent @jackycnoir64.bsky.social. Fab panel, thank you for being part of my last GCCF as organiser. 😍

Did I buy any books in Hay? Why yes, I did, thank you. The Arabian Nights, Frankenstein and The Moonstone. Plus another tarot deck.

New glasses day! May they help me see some good stories to read and write. Red for computer work, purple for reading.

I just noticed this, I have S/Caramel Mousse, my first question was, does it do the fandango?

Time to stop?

Computer geeks, goons, and a kick ass heroine. What more could you want to keep you warm in a winter's read?

Just changed my living room from dark to bright with a few soft furnishings. Pictures were taken ten minutes apart. Complete change for under £170. Love it.
