Well, OFAC added the street name without the house number to the SDN list, so until it was fixed I kept getting bans from all sorts of companies (SaaS, some hosting providers, etc.) using the “better safe than sorry” approach, and it was a pain in the ass to sort out (2/2)

Once OFAC introduced sanctions against a certain bank, and it so coincided that that bank had a branch on the same street where I lived for the first 18 years of my life before I emigrated. (1/2)

The only date format I respect is ISO8601. Maybe also MMMM DD, YYYY in English and DD MMMM YYYY in Dutch and Russian, but that’s it.
