I saw a picture of Donald Trump with the Canadian Prime Minister today and was struck by the resemblance of Trump to an old characterization the great comedian Red Skelton made famous "Clem Kadiddlehopper". The facial expression was a near perfect match. Cracked me up. A light moment in a grim time.

Our economic genius, DJT, is proposing to replace IRS and income tax with revenue from tariffs. This begs the question of what benefit do most taxpayers gain from the greatest tax hike in our lifetimes? The tariff scam will cost most of us far more than the income tax system ever has. Impeach DJT!

It is incredibly difficult to be an American at this time. It is hard to believe that such an utterly incompetent group has been assembled by a senile, ignorant old fool with an anti-family, anti-science, anti-medical research, anti-education and absolutely corrupt agenda is running our country!!!

As a forester it is very concerning that Trump wants to basically "strip mine" our National Forests. It is important that citizens understand that reaching harvestable new timber stands in most of the west and all of the eastern hardwood forests takes 60 to 100 YEARS. The next harvest is a long wait

I would very much like to hear Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's opinion on the revocation of TPS that involves the large Haitian population in the Springfield, Ohio area. He has publicly supported them in the past. Apparently he is another powerless Republican politician bowing to Donald Trump.

Trump wants to believe he is so powerful that he can make anything happen NOW by snapping his fingers at one of his servants. There are many reasons why life in his position (or any position for that matter) is hard. Little details like budget, available manpower, and logistics tend get in the way.

The imbecile in the White House is still pontificating about how he knows how to stop forest fires from being so destructive. The supposed solution of "cleaning" the forest floor of millions of acres is beyond insanely funny. There is not enough money in the total federal budget to pay for that.

There is a disappointing lack of proof and substance to the outcry emanating from the White House. Seems "fraud" is anything that Trump and Elon don't like or does not follow the present policies. Sorry guys if you can't prosecute it you did not find "fraud" (perhaps waste? is a better descriptor)

@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social While I have never been a professional auditor, I did spend time around people who were when I was a USN Supply Corps Reserve Officer. The one thing they were absolutely adamant about was that findings had to be presented with CONCRETE evidence. Where's the beef DOGE?

I have heard Elon expounding on his outstanding efforts to expose fraud, waste, and abuse on National TV. Where is any evidence supporting these claims? Some of the things he's claiming are so far-fetched that publicly available proof needs to be forthcoming. Do his crew have security clearances?
