My formerly abused foster cat has been very very slow on progress and still seems very very depressed. I’m a little frustrated and discouraged which is just a reality of fostering, it’s not his fault. He did choose to sit on my lap tonight though.

Our county used to have so many train stations that would be extremely convenient to have back 😭 there’s one by my house that goes into our town and I would killlll for that

I got this cat for free at a DC shelter seven years ago because she was diagnosed with metastatic mammary cancer. No idea how she’s still here but it is the greatest joy of my life to give her a cozy home and open windows 🖤
