Gaetz resigned effective immediately.

This is to kill the ethics investigation — without a report being released.

But now, if he doesn’t get confirmed as AG, he’s out of government. Fingers crossed.

And they’re going to turn it into an “everytown for gun safety” website.

This might be the most brilliant troll job in history.

In comparison, a similar bill was brought up before the House earlier this year. There was much less organizing against it and it got further then.

Today’s vote was a very different story. The attention + organizing played a role.

Was there today for the H.R. 9495 vote (bill that would have allowed labeling nonprofits as terrorist supporting organizations).

Voted no, of course - but I do want to report that the activism DID work and persuaded members.

I'm sure this Cabinet of inexperienced grifters who excel solely at advancing their own careers will produce an administration that runs like a well-oiled machine.

The Senate *hates* Matt Gaetz.

This is going to be an early check on whether or not they’ll be a realistic check on Trump’s power or if they’ll just roll over and do what he wants.

But the fact that a coked up pedo was even nominated for AG is insane.
