Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED Talk on how I feel as if I'm constantly and continuously losing my fucking mind and knowing that as much as things change it'll never, ever, get any better.

It feels self indulgent to compare the loss, but I can't put into words just how much I miss both of the people in this photo.

The worst part is that through grieving you lose the person that you were in the before times, and then you grieve for that person too. I liked who I was before, but have no idea who I am now.

People say that you can't let it define you, and honestly you don't even get a choice. It's just there. It's always part of what you think about, and always becomes part of any conversation you have. You can't help but want to talk about it. It becomes your personality whether you want it to or not.

I wish I'd taken a photo of it at the time, but for ages Sainsbury's on Piccadilly had a hanging sign that was peeling so badly the logo looked like they'd just used Illustrator to trace a low res bitmap. It was cute. But now all gone. Sigh.

The real skill is in recognising which is which so that you can eat them in the right order.

You're probably holding it wrong, or something like that. Get a bumper case on it to be safe.

Death on the Nile is also excellent although as minor as this is the whole Morels/Moray Eel gag really grates on me and it loses points for that alone. Suchet is definitely the better Poirot, but the two Ustinov films are both delightfully bright and wonderfully camp. Love.

The big gay in me just fawns over the costumes and the music. There's a story in there somewhere but honestly whatever.

I was wrong with my previous reply, it turns out that they will recognise an SSD but you can't sync an SSD over FireWire - so unless you want to remove the drive every time you want to sync you're stuck with whatever's on there 🤨
