My eldest cat did this until she tore through one of our window scenes and went missing for a week. Found her hungry, thirsty, and happy to be home. Hasn't tried to escape since.

It is just as important to celebrate our small victories as we do our large. Large victories are rare and there are large gaps in between. The small ones keep us going.
