update on this: it's insurance. just have to wait for them to stop fucking around. apparently it was submitted by both the surgical pavilion and the surgeon's office and the pavilion one went thru first but i had to PAY the office. why the fuck it's set up this way i have no idea.

they had me make a copayment while i was there and said nothing about owing anything to them. my insurance was supposed to cover that.
if they try to charge me an extra 1650 after the fact i'm going to throw a goddamn fit.

yeah, but ppl TEND to be a lil more understanding in that case. not always, by any means, bc ppl are assholes. but like. sometimes someone made a stupid decision and got a pet they shouldn't have and going "oh i fucked up" and rehoming the animal is A GOOD THING and i wish ppl would recognize that.

working breed dogs are victims of this SO often. ppl get them not knowing what they're in for and then try WAY PAST the point of what they should, KNOWING they cannot meet that dogs' needs, often bc of guilt. we need to give them an out. it's easier on the human and better for the animals involved.

yes it sucks to see animals being shuffled around, but better they find a place to belong than languish and suffer in one that cannot meet their needs.

sometimes ppl get an animal they weren't prepared for & it's BETTER that they recognize that & find that animal a more appropriate home than continue struggling & traumatize the animal into behavioral issues, then wind up having to surrender the animal, who will have a harder time finding a home.
