… *sigh*

I really wish people wouldn’t keep driving themselves into these panics. But whatever.

Yeah, I guess if you turn off smart features you lose smart features? 🤷‍♂️

Time to start sniffing spice, I guess.

This is great.

Just this January the tools available to you so you could see yourself in a different light were so limited and inaccurate.

With this and nano banana you could see some really needful things that the mirror may not always show, but should.

Haven’t tried this but should/will.

This is really amusing.
He said "Amen" straight into the drop

Lmao Pope Leo threw a rave for an archbishop's 75th birthday this is kind of incredible

This is probably not the way, but, blocking accounts by people who are overly anti-technology, and also using the ForYou feed made me actually enjoy this app a lot more.

I also don’t feel as… weirdly off when I turn off the screen.

This is a really good thread.

The article rubbed off wrong to me.

Also, I feel doing this is a waste of student’s time and money. And why is that the relationship that you’d like to have with your students?
Since this article and its perspectives are generating a bit of buzz, I'd like to dig into what I find distasteful and, frankly, disingenous about it, particularly the ethical values it proclaims. 1/8

I like Mamdani. He has all the potential to be a really great Mayor and political leader.

I hope he does well, but for now as he starts, I’m filled with a healthy amount of hope.

Ok, these are fun too...

Scary concession snack characters, and several products derived from them. :O

Ask Gemini to make a flow chart for how to make a mouse famous. But to make sure to the mouse does not resemble any other famous mouse.

Many years ago I purchased a 15in MacBook Pro, and as much as I love that huge screen and wanted to get a 16 inch some day, the fact is that my new 14in MacBook Pro seems like the perfect size.

I can fit my iPad right next to it on my lapdesk thingy.

It's also very light.

The remix culture on Sora is really cool. I only see a bit of it, but watching long remix threads from popular posters is fascinating.

A lot gets said about delegating creativity to AI, but I keep seeing people collaborate with it and become more comfortable being creative.

Feels weird to have an earworm from a music video clip generated in Sora2. 😮🐛👂

Ok, I gotta pick cheerier movies.

Watched The Lobster tonight, great movie. Will never watch it again.

Have to say, I like Lanthimos style, but enjoyed Poor Things a lot more.

Should watch Bugonia sometime.

As Gemini 3 rolls out today, I'll re-share the most useful thing I've learned about LLMs yet: When in doubt about how to use the chatbots or what to use them for?

Just ask them for guidance/help. They are very good at helping you figure it out.

So, I finally watched The Substance...

I knew it was a body horror movie, and, don't get me wrong, it is REALLY GOOD, but... it's also REALLY a body horror film.

Hope Demi Moore got all the awards, she deserves them, just for picking this role.

Never going to watch this movie ever again.

Man, I really love Claude Sonnet 4.5. Another productive evening collaborating, back and forth, refining a character concept that I'm very excited to start drawing soon.

I really think that this technology would have changed my life when I was in my 20s.

The Apple TV flyover screensavers are just so breathtaking.

I'm listening to music through the HomePods which are connected to my Apple TV, and its just breathtaking sight after breathtaking sight.

The shots from Earth's orbit are just 🤯🥰🤯😍

I read stuff like this nowadays, form thoughts, and move on, because I can't do anything about it.

But, this is so evil. It's just evil. Pure evil.

Last night during Predator: Badlands they had a trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, and the only thing I'm excited about is the upcoming upgrade that they are doing to the Millenium Falcon ride at Disneyland to coincide with the movie's release

I'm sure it will be fun, but I'm unexcited 'bout it

Ok, so I don't forget, my favorite movies this year SO FAR:
1. Superman / Kpop Demon Hunters
2. Frankenstein
3. Sinners

I assume this list will fill up in the next few weeks...

And yes, #1 spot is a shared spot, I refuse to pick between both of those films. My absolute faves this year.
November 18, 2025 at 4:03 AM
Predator: Badlands was really fun/silly.

I have no attachment to or much memories of this franchise, so went in with no expectations, but I wouldn’t mind more movies on this universe.

In fact, I should probably watch Prey.

Claude 4.5 Sonnet in Expanded Thinking + Explanatory mode is really fun to collaborate with on creative projects.

I still have a strong preference for Gemini, and can't wait for Gemini 3, but if given the choice between ChatGPT and Claude as a second model, I think I'd stick with Claude.

The Lego Batman Movie is genuinely so good. It's a great Lego movie, and it's a great Batman Movie.

Took me too long to see it.
