Hmm. Every time I see something like this, I am always reminded of this novel...

No. Sadly the reason his one ear has that curl is because he had a hematoma in the ear, and it had to be surgically drained and overstitched so it wouldn't re-occur. It left his one ear a bit wonky.

Fifteen minutes later, he went upstairs and went under our bed staying there only to come out to eat and use the litter box. We actually moved his food and water *and* litter box to the bedroom for him (and to make sure there were no potty accidents). A photo of Percy (or Perseus more formally) taken in my lap while supervising a project I was working on. You can see the curl in his right ear from being over sewn after draining a hematoma. They over sew the inside part of the ear to make sure the hematoma won't return.

The original literally took off at the finish line at Pomona, the body ending up in pieces. The mini version was built on a narrower chassis with a narrower body to be more aerodynamic and stable. You can also make out Cyclone headers, Keith Black Racing Eng and Harbor Dodge sponsorship on the side of the vehicle.

It's another #PhantomFriday!

This week an F-4 Phantom drops its payload on a target in Vietnam. The markings indicate it belongs to VF-111 Sundowners stationed on board the USS Coral Sea. Note the shark mouth on the nose of the plane.

Well, it's another #Caturday. Percy (or more formally Perseus) pretty much looks like I feel. In other words, tired and in need of a nap. The fact that it is a miserable, grey day doesn't help.

Percy the cat? Well, not sure but if I had to guess, I'd say Aeldari. I think he's that kind of cat. And if he saw this image it would certainly seal the deal.

Percy is in my lap and checking out the hobby project on my downstairs work table. I know he wants to get up there and really give it a close inspection.

Wow. That was many years ago. Memory fades. But, after giving it some thought, the Cliff Simak novel, Time is the Simplest Thing is as close as I could get. I may have read a couple of short story anthologies prior but can't remember their titles.

Built around 2011 or 2012? Maybe. Found in storage bag a couple of years ago. I kinda wondered what happened to it.

I think it has a Cadia decal on the other side of the turret (though it is early and I am too lazy to go dig it out of storage to be certain).
