Until it shut down in 2023, it was the tallest water fountain in the united states, and the third tallest in the world. It was beautiful. I'll never forget it.

St. Louis, MO is the home of the tallest manmade monument in the western hemisphere (The Gateway Arch)- but many St. Louisans don't know that across the river in East St. Louis, IL there used to be a manmade geyser that would erupt every day at noon- with enough force to match the height of the arch
