the main reason i don’t argue with people about voting on the internet is that if you don’t feel any particular obligation to exercise your right to self-government — if you don’t see it as simply a fundamental task of citizenship — then there’s nothing i can say to persuade you otherwise

Today's jobs report showed a lower unemployment rate as well as continued job growth in healthcare, government, social assistance and construction. Wage growth was strong, rising 4% over the past year. Adult men saw their unemployment rate fall, at 3.7%, last month.
