If only we'd learn from the recent past. The many examples should be able to guide #coops to learn from the exemplary examples of great cooperation. Sadly many of our leaders unaware of the real benefits of applying the principles. At the top level we suffer with chancers and wannabe celebrities.

Cooperative UK is not a 'coop'. Is a trade body, lapping up £, to pay poor wages to dedicated individuals.

To those still in CUK: I see you. Keep going. You deserve better. And I hope you get it. You will, but members will suffer until that day comes. Personalities are poor and are always found out.

I still believe in the movement. I just wish the 'coop' had lived up to the values it claims to represent.

Bullies are vile people.

Leadership may come and go, but it's the everyday people keeping the values alive. My respect for them remains deep and unchanged.

What I miss most? The people. The members. The colleagues. The ones who actually make the co-op movement work. They're brilliant, and too often underappreciated.

I'm still processing what happened, and considering legal action. No one should be pushed out like that, especially after years of service and belief in the mission.

I am au fait with hastags and should have used the #coops hastag. Not that anyone else has cared about 'amplifying' the movement in recent years.
