Bridging aesthetic and wildlife value to bring a new take on "lawn care". Specializing in our "Native Plant Enhancement" packages, we retrofit outdated garden beds & "problem areas" with the native Virginia plants that will thrive for generations to come!
I also want to add- one of the easiest ways to identify our native vs invasive is to take a petal and hold it up to the light, if you see black dots around its edge... There's a very good chance it's the invasive form! Use a plant ID app like #inaturalist for more confidence!

Their blooms attract a ton of pollinators too, especially tinier ones like sweat bees often get left out of "pollinator" coverage. Want YOUR RVA yard buzzing with those 23 butterfly species? GardenWildServices.com can make it happen with authentic Virginia natives! #NativePlants #NativeHabitat

Butterflies and moths! Like most natives, it's why choosing them over whatever variety just happens to be at the garden center, is so important! Sometimes it's leaves can look like they have tiny little holes from insect damage in the light, but these are actually tiny little oil glands!

You don't always see these two growing side-by-side in the wild, but the beauty of creating your own habitat is that you can! With the right conditions, you can have this incredible "fire and ice" display in your own yard. It's all about designing with nature's rules in mind.

And then there's the stunning Great Blue Lobelia. Its intricate, two-lipped flowers are a perfect landing pad for native bees, like the federally endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee. Fun fact: its species name, siphilitica, comes from a mistaken belief that it could treat syphilis! 👀

Let's talk about this red😳 My camera can't even capture how vibrant Lobelia cardinalis is. It’s a pure, electric scarlet that hummingbirds can't resist. It’s their #1 draft pick. This plant loves moisture and is a perfect choice for rain gardens or stream banks.

there are so many places that could be bursting with native habitat... we CAN coexist alongside natural beauty far more than we currently do, and it is my belief that targeting affordable #landscaping is the best way I can prove that. While selecting for aesthetic beauty, GardenWild will curate

has left me frustrated with the way we "decorate" our green spaces. from "hell strips", to parking lot borders, small courtyards & large monoculture lawn... I've found most people genuinely just want something to "look nice". I'm recent years education about native plants & habitats has expanded but
