If you can loop your passion into your current role, you should. Follow your passion doesn't mean jump ship anytime things get hard. Hard is part of the game.

If "follow your passion" is a justification for low-performance and low-engagement in your role, it's terrible advice.

Follow your passion means this: line up your intrinsic motivation with your extrinsic circumstances.

This can be done by changing your job/role, but it can also be done by learning to apply to passion strategically within your role.

4- go to your company website and look through testimonials/case studies
5- think of your favorite/best clients and write down 2-3 traits that drove their success

Once you realize that everything is fuel for content, it becomes so much easier to break out of content writer's block.

It's very tempting to continually ask "what can I add" but the greatest operators ask "what can I remove and still get the same result".

Simplicity is elegant. Less moving pieces. Less room for error.

PS it's also true for your own workflows and daily rhythm. Eliminate & focus.

In my experience, the longer you can run a quality plan without seeing results, often the better the end outcome. Not always true (sometimes quick wins can validate the project) but an important frame to keep in mind nonetheless.

We are putting in the reps, but aren't seeing the results yet. It's at that point that it becomes easy to question the whole project.
