i used to live in flagstaff, az which is a huge area for astronomy (home of the lowell observatory which is where pluto was discovered) and they have no light laws. no street lights at all except very dim ones on the highway & in select parking lots. it’s incredible experiencing darkness like that

like i would totally understand if someone stole her exact design & started selling it, but she literally just makes butterfly wings (a naturally occurring pattern), puts them in wooden bookends, & says she came with idea lmao. don’t get me wrong they’re beautiful but don’t fall under copyright lol
