Seems very much like eugenics if “you don’t need vaccines if you’re healthy”. The young, old, and pregnant are vulnerable to bad outcomes of respiratory infection. For shame!

Important time to remember that people with HIV and CD4<200 should not get measles vaccine, as it can cause fatal infection. If CD4 >200, the vaccine can be given safely.

I’m disappointed by the Loblaws stores not highlighting locally-produced food. You can nearly see the fruit orchards and production factory from this Superstore location. Other products have a protruding red tag. This gets a puny yellow leaf.

This is my first bloom for this Epicyclia “Serena O’Neill” orchid. It has a lovely lemon-floral scent. Flowers are not large but intricate and unique.

I’ve been growing this very fragrant Dendrobium nobile “Angel Smile” orchid species for 20+ years now. I shared some baby plants of this orchid with medical students years ago-they are experienced docs by now!

Methylene blue acts as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, which means it has all the same drug interactions as MAOIs, which is a lot.

Research question: has Lactrodectus spider 🕷️ venom ☠️ever been found to have beneficial medical uses? We have so many of these spiders here that we don’t bother removing them anymore. This one at least murders the other insects in our garage, like the cat manages the 🐀.
