20) Christine by Stephen King

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finally read my first King novel and of course I had to start with my favorite movie.

I quite enjoyed the book, it answered a lot of questions, also it was a lot gayer than I expected except for the end where I kind of lost interest, the ending just fizzled out.

Well, on that bizarre and sandpaper-smooth metaphor we end this spooky marathon.

I hope you all had fun, and that you got some gruesome ideas, with the way things are going, we might need them.

Let spite and rage carry you on to the next year. Dance your way through hell! Outlive them.

Goodnight

Day 31 of 31: Best Wishes to All (2023)

It’s basically a much more annoying, nonsensical and bizarre for the sake of being bizarre version of Martyrs.

It sure was creepy and unsettling but it was just too fucking stupid to take seriously.

Maybe just stick to ghost movies

Day 30 of 31: Cujo (1983)

Oh this movie was definitely not for me. The poor dog broke my heart and I felt so bad the entire time. Poor big baby.

Also, nice one dude 🙄 Drive a jaguar while your wife (who drives your son around all the time) has a shitty Pinto.

Even with the cheesy parts and the off beat acting here and there, the movie is pretty good.

Well, I liked it better than the original so that’s something. It’s fine, it’s entertaining and it has a very nice aesthetic.

Not the tales from the crypt I was expecting tbh but the movie was great.

Cautionary tale to not be a massive asshole like this assortment of horrid motherfuckers.

Solid horror anthology.

Day 25 of 31: Pulse (2001)

Watching the original only fuels my rage for the nonsensical American remake.

This movie gave me chills, and I don’t say that lightly.

Pure existential dread, interesting original storyline. Some dated fx but outside of that it is brilliant.
