This morning, I was hit in the face by a baton.

I’m going to have a pretty gnarly bruise but we need to remember why this is happening: Trump and ICE are rounding up our neighbors, treating them as subhuman, and shipping them off to labor camps in foreign countries. It has to end.

ICE admits that up to 50% of arrests in its Chicago raids are "collateral.” These aren't statistics. They are parents taken from their children, neighbors taken from our communities. When does a "collateral" U.S. citizen child's trauma matter? This isn't law enforcement; it's a campaign of terror.

this is wild: while Stephen Miller's guy was in Minnesota for his uncle's funeral, somebody was able to see his entire phone and take pictures of his Signal group chats talking about military deployments to Portland, and brought them to the Strib (gift link: www.startribune.com/trump-offici...)

Props to these four journalists for maintaining their integrity.

You have got to be kidding me with this.
1. This isn't saying that Ai is replacing workers in these industries, just that young people have trouble finding work in some industries "most exposed to AI"
2. This is based entirely on payroll data. No connection to A.I. - why did Bloomberg cover this?

This is one of the strangest things I've ever read, I'm not even sure what it's about. Is any of this worth burning billions of dollars for? Is this really anything truly remarkable? Is this person really what anyone would call "a tech skeptic" in any meaningful sense of the word?
