Fantastic canvassing session through in Tollcross today. Shettleston is now stuck with a Reform UK councillor despite not voting for one - the fact is Reform is a party of the billionaire elite - it's only Greens who will fight to fund public services and improve working class lives.

In 2016, there were polls showing the Greens on ~10 seats. For the 2026 election, there are polls showing Greens on 10 seats and leap frogged by Reform and the LDs.
We can and must do better.

Can't say I'm thrilled tbh. It's pretty difficult to be a party of radical change if you keep looking like you're in favour of the establishment while standing next to a tory.

The SNP must not cave-in to the landlord lobby.
Earlier this year we introduced a Bill to establish a national system of rent controls.
Now the SNP want to limit those controls to impose above inflation rent hikes.
We need to reduce unaffordable rents, not increase them.
