I've noticed a handful of crew members on the side of the screen in Angel. Also this shot where David is hanging out on the side so he doesn't appear in the reflection but is still walking with the team without cutting. At least this one it was kinda neat to see the TV magic

Watching Angel recently we've noticed a bunch of shots like this. Here you can see David Boreanaz hanging out on the right side of the screen so we don't get a reflection in the mirror shot of the other actors
