Local people are telling us that a street dog cull is likely. We are now in contact with the authorities and we will try to save as many lives as we possibly can. To make this happen we really do need your help. We know from the Damascus campaign that dogs can be shot and not killed. They are just left to die in agony. We cannot standby while this happens in our own city. Today a citizen contacted us about this boy. He has been shot and left to die on the street. His shoulder is shattered. He is under intensive care at the sanctuary. Please. Please. Help us to save as many as we can. Neutering, vaccinating, tagging is the only possible way forwards, and we can't do it without you. We have no spare funding available at all.”

Ernesto’s Sanctuary in Syria provides a home, food & medical care to >2,500 cats, as well as other animals, all rescues. Donations have dropped since the war ended, while costs have soared. They desperately need donations for animal care & repair to their facilities.

There has been a large explosion near Ernesto's Sanctuary for cats, & their farm sanctuary, in northern Syria. They need donations to help cover the cost of an emergency stock of dry food for the animals.

I'm not schooled in it, but stories like this sound as though such of the felon's actions qualify as Crimes Against Humanity under ICC jurisdiction. So handy for the felon that altho both El Salvador & Venezuela have accepted ICC authority, the US has not, I believe?

🚨 The SAVE Act Would Disenfranchise Millions of Citizens

The act, sponsored in the U.S. House of Representatives by Chip Roy (R-TX), would require all Americans to prove their citizenship with documentation unavailable to millions, and upend the way every American citizen registers to vote.

This legislation would require all Americans to prove their citizenship status by presenting documentation—in person—when registering to vote or updating their voter registration information. While this may sound easy for many Americans, the reality is that more than 140 million American citizens do not possess a passport and as many as 69 million women who have taken their spouse’s name do not have a birth certificate matching their legal name. Because documentation would need to be presented in person, the legislation would, in practice, prevent Americans from being able to register to vote by mail; end voter registration drives nationwide; and eliminate online voter registration overnight—a service 42 states rely on. These impacts alone would set voter registration sophistication and technology back by decades and would be unworkable for millions of Americans, including more than 60 million people who live in rural areas.
