But for those whining or complaining or in solitude that they consider “noble” here’s a suggestion: volunteer to help cook and serve those who don’t have a choice to be alone. Its the “giving” part

Everyone is talking about how much this Tday meal costs but they forget you can’t just buy a “little butter or milk or potatoes” or other ingredients. Even if you’re only cooking for 4 you’re buying for 8. So yeah it was more expensive than in the last 40 years that I did the cooking. Con artist!

Yep. Just did my shopping today and things are bad. The only thing that was cheaper than last year was eggs. Ironically the egg crisis of 2024 resolved itself when the avian flu was over and eggs became plentiful and cheaper,and we got stuck with a moron in the White House because.. EGGS!!

I was remembering JFK yesterday and that awful day. I was in 2nd grade. First time I saw the adults in my life crumble. So scary.
