Since this 70 yr old was little Thanksgiving and The Wizard of Oz were synonymous. Long before VHS or DVD or being able to watch whatever whenever this classic was aired just once a year and it was special.

Took a wee nap this afternoon and opened by eyes to see the flag fluttering in the breeze. Instead of being filled with pride I was filled with sorrow at what we’ve become in such a short time. Never thought I’d feel this way about our beloved country, especially after 70 years.
