Felt like a good time to take a break from programming and play around with some simple 3d modeling tonight. So I made some new (rough) ship models for my game project!
They're all fully implemented in the project, and working correctly! Although I do still want to make more changes to them.

100 days learning Japanese!
I've been messing around a little bit here and there with character modeling and texturing for my project. Nothing too fancy since I'm a designer, not an artist. But it's been a fun change of pace. I guess now I need to animate it though... 😅

Not 30 minutes into being 38 years old and I've shaved an inch long patch of skin off my head on accident. How tf did I even do that?

Okay look, I feel for people because the first boss in Dark Souls 3 was what turned me off from the games. But also... This is accurate and hilarious to me. Especially since it seems to mostly be Souls fans getting caught in it.

On the one hand I love this mech build so much. It can take on damned near any fight and absolutely obliterate the competition. On the other hand... The ammo expenses make me cry.

Another week, another first place finish on Duolingo. And since my free trial expired and it charged me for a whole year subscription I guess I had better stick with it! 😅

Finished my goal for today of "learning" all the base Hiranga characters by the end of the day. Still couldn't write most of them if you put a gun to my head. But I can remember the noise they make (usually). Now back to speaking, and all the other characters I need to learn.

Okay, so starting day 2 of learning Japanese, and I've completed all the verbal lessons available (more lessons are locked until I've learned the hiragana alphabet), and I'm making good progress on leaving the first set of characters! Just don't ask me to draw them from memory.
