6. Bob Trevino Likes It

Wow. Achingly authentic and viscerally emotional. I liked this one a lot.

You know, fair enough, it's probably just about this guy.

The first trailer for Wanderstop immediately made it one of my most anticipated games of the year, but even the simple list of co-creators should be more than enough to earn your attention. I'm PSYCHED for this.

5. Romeo+Juliet

Saw this in college, but not since. On rewatch, it's a manic delight. The decision to modernize the setting with Luhrmann's over-the-top stylings while retaining all the original Shakespearean dialogue makes it a surreal and enthusiastically enjoyable adaptation.

4. Ratatouille

Haven't seen this since it came out. Thought it was fine then, didn't understand the love that persisted for it over time.

On rewatch, no idea what I was thinking. That's some damn good Pixar.

3. This Is How You Lose the Time War

A really clever and beautifully written book about two women locked in a war throughout time, as their covert operations lead to a forbidden love that jeapordizes their missions. Its comprised of letters between them, and it's achingly gorgeous and creative.

2) Mufasa

I liked that Kiara was in it. Aside from that, terrible. Music was mid, photorealistic lions still can't emote well, Timon and Pumba chattered constantly and never once made me laugh, and the writing?? The rift between Scar and Mufasa could not have been more clumsy and ham-fisted.

1) Sonic the Hedgehog 3

I didn't like the first movie much, and the second was only a bit better. This one, though? I was GIDDY at multiple points, and I've never even completed a Sonic game. I've got a couple story/theme complaints, but overall extremely fun.

Listening to a compilation of Studio Ghibli piano covers, and this Grabe of the Fireflies song is really pretty!

Of all the things to actually quote this accurately, I never expected an achievement from a hidden object game about cats in a theme park (aptly named "A Park Full of Cats").

Sitting on my screened-in porch, with a very good cat and a laptop for writing a game on a cloudy day. ☺️

Not sure if this is trending over here the same way it is on Twitter, but I did the thing. Top 10 are fairly solid, but the order loses all meaning beyond that. There are just too many good games.
