1/ The more I think about it, the more interesting it is (to me) that video game consoles crashed out during November this year. There is an obvious price headwind here, but the severe drop-off indicates there's more to it (especially for #PlayStation and #Nintendo).

The #FinalFantasy Pixel Remaster(s) sold over 6M units (assuming combined).
I take the position that the Pixel Remaster versions look worse than the originals because they were never intended to be displayed like this, BUT I'm glad to see the classics never die.

Here are my thoughts. The drop in HW sales has flattened the year. It's getting harder to sell a #PS5. Xbox has obviously moved on from Xbox Series. Nintendo Switch 2 is doing its thing, as expected.

What power does an activist investor group like 3D Investments truly hold over Square Enix? When it comes to day-to-day decisions, not much. It's really more about share voting influence, and longer term goals.

I don't think it's a good idea to announce #StarWars FOTOR this early, especially when the studio (by their own admittance) is just getting started. I can't stand video game rumors either, but in "AAA" development, 2029 / 2030 is actually reasonable.

Is WB Games better off under #Netflix or Paramount? It truly is hard to say, and it probably comes down to what Netflix would even want to do with the studios & IPs.

The standard reason a company would cancel a second DLC pack is demand slowed down to a point where it doesn't make sense to continue.
#AssassinsCreedShadows showed a respectable sales rate out the gate, but we can safely assume sales slowed down too much.

I suspect that Hypixel (after the sudden re-acquisition of Hytale) needs to see a return on their investment now, rather than later. They need funds from early access, and to test the market for this type of game.
