Shannon McKenna Schmidt's YOU CAN'T CATCH US (March) is a fascinating look at Lady Bird Johnson's campaign journey in the deep south for her husband. I love this author's way of engaging the average reader in a little-known historical event. #ewgc

Laura Hamilton's THE FOURTH WIFE (March) was a fascinating historical gothic featuring the young 4th wife who comes to the crumbling mansion who not only has to learn the ways of the sister wives but also how to handle a ghost. #ewgc

I'm always up for a good caper/heist thriller, and Michael Kardos's FUN CITY HEIST (December) did not disappoint. Plus, it's a short, quick, and compelling read. #ewgc

I'm finally here and ready to roll. Starting out with Catherine Newman's sequel SANDWICH, my favorite book from 2024. WRECK continues Rocky's somewhat chaotic life with an unknown illness and continued middle-aged travails. Loved it. To be released in late October. #ewgc

Until Janet Evanovich comes out with another Stephanie Plum mystery, I'm going to have to make do with her next release, KING'S RANSOM (November). Appears to be a fun romp, as hers usually are. I am hoping to wait until I can get it in audio. #ewgc
